Clash of Clans is a free pay-to-win mobile approach video game proclaimed by developer Supercell.
The game was unconfined for iOS platforms on August 2, 2012, and on Google Play for Android on October 7, 2013.
The game is set in a fantasy-theme constant world where the player is a chief of a village.
Clash of Clans assigns players to build their village using the resources attained from attacking other players through the game’s fighting features.
The major assets are gold, elixir, and dark elixir. Players can adjoin to create clans, groups of up to fifty people who can then contribute to Clan Wars together, bestow and receive troops, and chat with each other.
Clash of Clans was released commonly for positive reviews from critics.
Gameplay
A replay of gameplay, where a player is striking another player’s village It is an online multiplayer game in which players form clans and train troops.
There are four currencies or assets in the game.
Gold and elixir can be used to construct and promote defenses and traps that shield the player from other players’ attacks and to build and advance buildings.
Elixir and dark elixir are also used to teach and upgrade troops and spells. Gems are the finest currency.

Attacks are graded on a three-star scale and have a maximum timed length of three minutes.
The game portrays a pseudo-single-player movement in which the player can hit a series of fortified goblin villages and get gold, elixir, and dark elixir (levels 51-75).
The game initiates with two builders, but the player can have up to five builders by buying them with gems and even a sixth by getting and unlocking the OTTO Hut in Builder Base 9.
Troops and spells
The game has two kinds of quarters (quarters and dark quarters) and two kinds of spell industrial units (spell industrial unit and dark spell industrial unit).
The quarters create groups using elixir, whereas dark barracks create groups using dark elixir.
The spell industrial unit chase the same pattern – the normal spell industrial unit creates spells using elixir, and the dark spell industrial unit uses dark elixir.
All troops and spells have diverse properties. Also besides, the dark spell industrial unit produces spells that require less space, allowing more of these spells to be used in a battle.
As the player advances, several new troops and spells can be unlocked. At Town Hall 12, the Workshop can be created.
This building can compose four types of siege machines: the Wall Wrecker, the Battle Blimp, the Stone Slammer, and the Siege Barracks.
Initiated in March 2020, Super Troops are troops that are more prevailing troops than their original counterparts and have special abilities.
Development, release, and marketing
Jonas Collaros, one of the coders in the Clash of Clans team, communicates about the game’s plan at an event.
Clash of Clans was invented by Supercell, the company at the back of other popular mobile games like Hay Day.
The game took six months to extend with the gameplay changing little throughout for expansion.
According to Supercell’s Lasse Louhento, the development team experienced no major hurdles during this time.
Encouragement for the game incorporated the games Backyard Monsters and Travian with the art style being subjective by Super Nintendo and old arcade games.
Originally the art style was more cartoon based but this was altered as the team worried it would alienate the more hardcore segment of their audience.

Throughout most of the development, the game was multiplayer-only concentrated however after focus testing, Supercell went back and added a single-player mode.
